Plot. In 2047, a distress signal is received from the Event Horizon, a starship that disappeared during its maiden voyage to Proxima Centauri seven years earlier. The ship mysteriously reappears in orbit around Neptune, and the rescue vessel Lewis and Clark is dispatched to investigate.
Event Horizon takes place in 2047, which would be about 14 millennia before humanity's heydey in the Age of Technology (cringingly called the "Dark Age of Technology" by the retards of the Imperium).

Event Horizon was written by Philip Eisner and Andrew Kevin Walker and was distributed by Paramount Pictures. I can find no real link between Paramount and Games Workshop nor between the Event Horizon writers and the Warhammer 40K writers.
