Sing is a 2016 American animated jukebox musical comedy film produced by Illumination Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures. It was written and directed by Garth Jennings, co-directed by Christophe Lourdelet, and produced by Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy.
Set in a world entirely inhabited by animals, SING stars Buster Moon (Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey), a Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Buster is an eternal optimist who loves his theater and will do anything to preserve it.
