Rosa 'Ingrid Bergman' is a red hybrid tea rose, bred by the Danish rose growers Pernille and Mogens Olesen and introduced by their company Poulsen Roser in 1984. It is a cross between the red hybrid tea 'Precious Platinum' (Dickson 1974) [2] and an unnamed seedling.
The 'Ingrid Bergman' Rose or 'Poulman', bred by the rose breeder Poulsen in 1984, belongs to the hybrid teas and, to this day, remains one of the best modern varieties of large red roses, awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in England and the Gold Medal in Belfast in 1985.
