5 de jul. de 2006 · salamence does have higher atk, sp. atk, and hp. But it really depends on what opponents you usually face. Depending on the types you face, flygon could sometimes be better than salamence.

Salamence is unfortunately better in everyway stat-wise, however I'll always prefer Flygon just because he's cool.
Salamence is better than Flygon in most ways. It's viable as both a physical or special attacker, and has better stats being a pseudo-legendary and all. Note that both are 4x weak to ice-type moves etc. I think Garchomp would be a better matchup to Salamence.

7 de mar. de 2013 · Flygon can only be a physical sweeper, while Salamence has the option of being Special/Physical/Mixed. Both of these dragons have a x4 Ice Weakness and immunity to Ground, but Salamence has an added x2 Rock weakness and Stealth Rock will cut its health by 1/4.
8 de ago. de 2010 · Flygon can be more useful because it has a better movepool, but Salamence is more powerful and would win in a battle. I personally like Flygon better, though, because of its awesome design.
