- Disable all addons-Reinstall l4d2-Do the opposite and add "-secure" in the launch options (instructions above)-Create a desktop shortcut and start the game from there. If all of these options doesn't work, you should reinstall steam itself as a last attempt.

Idk how the things work in L4D2 cause of bugs but I just put -force_vendor_id 0x10DE -force_device_id 0x0191 -vulkan -high -steam -novid remove "-insecure-" in the launch options, create a shortcut from the .exe file which you can find by browsing local files.
18 de oct. de 2012 · Sgt. Flan Oct 26, 2012 @ 8:38pm. Ok guys, go to your library, go to list grid view library somewhere around your top right corner of steam, right click l4d2, click properties, click on lauch set options, put remove-insecure and launch your game. :) Hope this helped.
