Emilio Estevez (/ ɛ ˈ m ɪ l i oʊ ɛ ˈ s t ɛ v ə s /; born May 12, 1962) is an American actor and filmmaker. He is the son of actor Martin Sheen and the older brother of Charlie Sheen. Estevez made his theatrical film debut in drama film Tex (1982).
He then starred in the Stephen King thriller and cult hit Maximum Overdrive (1986), . The ambitious young actor added directing to his palette with Wisdom (1986) in 1986. Estevez went on to write, direct and star in the film Men at Work , Men at Work (1990) alongside his brother Charlie Sheen in 1989 .
