24 de feb. de 2013 · Ambos son correctos, pero yo tendo a usar el present perfect en esa oración cuando todavía me encuentro en el período de la mañana y el simple past si ya es la tarde o la noche. Pero es una idiosincrasia mía, supongo.

I've studied all this morning. If the mornig has just passed I've studied in the morning. Which one is correct? Please help!

We generally use 'past simple' when we describe something that happened at a finished time such as 'yesterday', 'last week' or 'this morning' (if the morning has finished). We use 'present perfect' to describe something that may have happened in the past but is connected to the present.
