The jeopardy score is a simple method for estimating the amount of myocardium at risk on the basis of the particular location of coronary artery stenoses. In patients with a previous myocardial infarction, higher jeopardy scores were associated with a lower left ventricular ejection fraction.

Based on CMR, 65% had an ischemic etiology and 35% were non-ischemic. A BCIS jeopardy score threshold ≥6 had 76% sensitivity and 97% specificity. In HFrEF, the extent of coronary disease on angiography can be used to rule in or out an ischemic etiology.

26 de oct. de 2012 · Prognostic Utility of BCIS Myocardial Jeopardy Score for Classification of Coronary Disease Burden and Completeness of Revascularization. Several coronary disease scoring systems have been developed to predict procedural risk during revascularization.
Conclusions: Myocardial jeopardy scores provide independent prognostic information for patients with ischemic heart disease, especially if those patients are treated medically or with percutaneous intervention. These scores represent potentially valuable tools in cardiovascular outcome studies.
