Septober Energy is the only album of the jazz/progressive rock big band Centipede. Produced by Robert Fripp under the musical direction of Keith Tippett , it was originally released 1971 in the UK as a double LP , and 1974 in the US with a different cover.

Septober Energy takes its name from Tippett’s composition, with his wife Julie Driscoll contributing the lyrics. Side one kicks off slowly, a gently rising cacophony of strings, horns, guitars, etc. that finds a theme around the ten-minute mark.
Esta big band se denominó ‘Ciempiés’, y publicaron bajo dicho nombre el único trabajo ‘Septober Energy’, en 1971, grabado en los Wessex Sound Studios, de Londres, ese mismo año. Vale la pena nombrar a cada uno de los integrantes de esta banda, ya que entre ellos aparecen algunos nombres increíbles.
Pues bien cajeros estas son mis impresiones de esta monumental Obra "Septober Energy", la cual viene comprendida en 4 movimientos: "S.E." es un album soberbio y pletorico de compases, estructuras musicales muy elaboradas y ritmos sincopados.
