Colin Bass (born 4 May 1951) is an English musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. Since 1979, he has been a member of the British progressive rock band Camel, who, after a ten-year hiatus due to the ill health of bandleader Andrew Latimer, returned to active touring in 2013.
Colin Bass has been part of the Camel story since 1979, appearing on six studio albums and a series of live albums and DVDs. The band’s 2003 world tour presaged a ten year hiatus caused by the serious illness of founder member Andrew Latimer.

Following their 2020 collaboration debut ‘Still’, Colin Bass (Camel) and Daniel Biro (Mysteries of the Revolution) return with ‘More’, recorded in London and Wales and released on the Sargasso label. Bass (vocals, bass, guitar, percussion) and Biro (keyboards) share songwriting and production duties on the album’s 11 new original songs.
