The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese (Japanese: 窮鼠はチーズの夢を見る, Hepburn: Kyūso wa Chīzu no Yume o Miru) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Setona Mizushiro. The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese was serialized in the josei manga magazine Judy from 2005 to 2006.
Adapted from the manga of the same name by Setona Mizushiro, “The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese” is a 2020 Japanese romance film directed by Yukisada Isao. A cheating husband, Ohkura Tadayoshi, is confronted with evidence of his infidelity by Ryo Narita, an old college friend who promises to keep his secret in exchange for a kiss.
Synopsis. Due to his indecise nature, Kyoichi, an advertising company employee, repeatedly cheats on his wife. One day, he meets Wataru, an old classmate from university. Wataru reveals that Kyoichi's wife hired him to investigate whether Kyoichi is having an affair.
Plot. Kyouichi's indecisive character has led him to repeatedly commit the foolish mistake of adultery. One day, Imagase, a college classmate he hasn't seen since graduation, shows up as the private detective hired by his wife to investigate his infidelity. Imagase, however, proposes a deal.
