Appaloosas come in many different coat colours that players can encounter on the islands, unlock during events, or acquire through other means. There are three island exclusive coats: Grey Blanket, only obtainable from Mountain Island; Red Roan Blanket, only obtainable from Desert Island; and Black Leopard, only obtainable from Blizzard Island.

20 de nov. de 2017 · A solid white covering the hip area, and contrasting against the base color of the horse, is known as a blanket or a snowcap. The white covering doesn’t have to be limited to the hip area; it can extend further.
3 de sept. de 2020 · The Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) recognizes 13 base coat colors: bay, dark bay/brown, black, buckskin, grulla, dun, palomino, cremello/perlino, chestnut, gray, bay roan, blue roan, and red roan. The following are representations of each color, reprinted by permission from the ApHC, with the exception of the Cremello/Perlino base coat.
Roan Blanket. The roan pattern consisting of a mixture of light and dark hairs, over a portion of the body. The blanket normally occurs over, but not limited to, the hip area. Roan Blanket with Spots. Roan blanket (as above) which has white and/or dark spots within the roan area. Solid.
