Hace 1 día · 2024. A general election will take place on Thursday 4 July. Before this, Parliament is expected to be prorogued on Friday 24 May and dissolved on Thursday 30 May. Neither House nor their committees will then meet until after the election. Members of the House of Commons will cease to be Members of Parliament once dissolution happens.
