Kazakhstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a landlocked country mostly in Central Asia, with a part in Eastern Europe. It borders Russia to the north and west, China to the east, Kyrgyzstan to the southeast, Uzbekistan to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southwest, with a coastline along the Caspian Sea.
Kazakhstan is the largest of the states of the former Soviet Union apart from Russia, and it dwarfs the other countries of Central Asia and stretches into Eastern Europe. Map. Directions. Satellite.
Kazajistán es uno de los seis Estados túrquicos independientes junto a Azerbaiyán, Turquía, Kirguistán, Turkmenistán y Uzbekistán; comparte fronteras con los tres últimos y con Rusia y China, a la vez que posee costas en el mar Caspio y el mar de Aral.
