Kanchenjunga (en nepalí: कञ्चनजङ्घा Kanchanjaŋghā; en limbu: सेवालुन्ग्मा Sewalungma, también escrito Kangchenjunga, Kangchen Dzö-nga, Khangchendzonga, Kanchenjanga, Kachendzonga, o Kangchanfanga) es la tercera montaña más alta del mundo, después del Everest y del K2, con una altitud de 8.586 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
It lies in the border region between Koshi Province of Nepal and Sikkim state of India, with three of the five peaks, namely Main, Central and South, directly on the border, and the peaks West and Kangbachen in Nepal's Taplejung District.

Mount Kanchenjunga Central, the fourth highest mountain peak in the world, lies in the Kanchenjunga mountain range of Nepal. The elevation of Kanchenjunga Central is 8,473 meters. It is on the border of Sirijanga rural municipality of Taplejung district of Nepal and India.
4 de may. de 2023 · The Kanchenjunga hike is one of the longest treks in Nepal, taking from 23 to 29 days. It is possible to make this a tea house trek, as the government has encouraged the building of infrastructure around not just Kanchenjunga but all of the Himalayas.
Al año siguiente, una expedición polaca alcanzó la cumbre sur (Kangchenjunga II), tras seguir al principio la vía británica hasta la Gran Repisa. Los polacos también subieron las dos puntas más altas de los tres picos de la cumbre central. La tercera la ascendió una expedición española al Yalung Kang que se unió a ellos.
