The Hotu and Kamarband Caves or Belt Caves are prehistoric archaeological sites in Iran. They are located 100 m (330 ft) apart, in a cliff on the slopes of the Alborz mountains in the village of Toroujen (currently called Shahid Abad), 5 km (3.1 mi) south west of Behshahr in the Mazandaran province.

According to the latest data, another cave, Qari-Komishan, located near the Hotu Cave, was discovered, in which the Mesolithic cultural layer and fragments of crockery of the Neolithic period were revealed. Mesolithic artefacts are very similar to items found out in the caves of Hotu and Ghari Kamarband.12) 10) 11) 12) Fisher (1968: 804).

In 2021, a team led by Hasan Fazeli from the University of Tehran undertook the re-excavation of Hotu Cave, unearthing 124 archaeological contexts spanning from the Mesolithic to the Historic period. Among the notable findings were 1,539 chipped stone artifacts, predominantly crafted from locally sourced Behshahr chert.
