1 de ago. de 2019 · 1. Send out cold emails (even if you don’t want to). Think about someone you’d really like to meet — maybe it’s a distinguished alumna of your college, a writer whose work has changed your outlook, or a person who is a pioneer in an industry you’re curious about.
Academic support. If you think your personal circumstances might affect your academic achievement, it’s a good idea to talk to your course tutor about your situation. They can help you manage your workload and, if necessary, explain the rules about extenuating circumstances for assignments.
Student involvement in co-curricular experiences (e.g., student organizations, community service or service-learning, sorority and fraternity life, student employment, etc.) is associated with positive outcomes in much of the higher education and student affairs literature.
