22 de ago. de 2011 · Normally, one would say, "Have you had breakfast?" or "Did you have breakfast [yet]?" to ask if someone has eaten breakfast on a particular day or morning. When used with breakfast, do can also mean eat (besides make, etc).
In theory, at least, Ali could still have breakfast this morning, so present perfect is the right tense to use (in British English, in any case). If it's the afternoon or later however, past simple would be more appropriate - "Ali didn't have breakfast this morning".

The already helps, but when you are discussing a sequence of events in the past, often you really do need the pluperfect.
