20 de ene. de 2024 · 2. Glue Gun. Using a glue gun to attach the ends is another, more permanent way to keep your ribbon on the candle. It usually works with all types of ribbon, generally isn’t visible and sticks very well. It also tends to leak through the ribbon and stick to the candle.
You can use these same techniques to decorate candles for just about any holiday or event. Ribbons, flowers, fabric, etc. can all be applied to a candle using glue or tape. Check out this Christmas version using red ribbon:
Glue flowers in vertical rows that have vine-like twists and turns. Make a flower rim. Glue flowers along the rim of the candle and leave the sides bare. Glue the flowers to the candle. Heat up the glue gun or prepare to use your fabric glue. Choose a spot on the candle for the first flower, and put a dot of glue there.
16 de may. de 2021 · Use the glue gun to secure the top and bottom of the ribbon around the jar making sure that it is adhered in a straight line. When you get to the opposite end, trim any excess and glue both ends down together. Take the ric rack and glue it to the center of the lace that is inside the burlap ribbon.
11 de oct. de 2022 · Cut 2 pieces of green and 1 piece of red ribbon by wrapping it around the jar and trimming so you have about a 1/2" overlap. Wrap one piece of ribbon around the jar and secure it with hot glue. If necessary, trim cinnamon sticks with diagonal cutters.
