The Killer is one of the main roles of the game. A random player is selected for the killer every round. As the killer, your end goal is to kill everyone before the survivor (s) escapes, or prevent them from powering the exit gates. There are currently 22 playable Killers in Daybreak 2.

This survivor can stagger (stun/slow/trap) the killer. There are 4 types of survivors in Daybreak 2, each with different playstyles: - Healer or Support - Genrusher - Looper - Stealth; DIFFICULTY. All survivors have varying levels of difficulty, ranked using a ★ star-based difficulty system in Daybreak 2.
