Bubba Bubbaphant is an anthropomorphic sky-blue elephant with black eyes and white pupils, a S-shaped trunk, a long tail with a bulb-shaped end, and large ears. His feet, hands, and tail end, as well as the inside of his trunk and ears, are a darker shade of blue.

The Smiling Critters are small, colorful, anthropomorphic animals, each appearing as a plush toy with a zipper on the front chest, large gaping smiles, and black eyes with white pupils. Each toy has a unique pendant representing the core aspect of each of their personalities.

Bubba Bubbaphant is the only Smiling Critter based off of a jungle animal. Bubba Bubbaphant's design and species could be based off of Lotsa-Heart Elephant from the Care Bear Cousins, with his brilliant personality and light-bulb shaped pendant being similar to Bright Heart Raccoon.
