BASIL'S HOUSE is one of the many areas within FARAWAY TOWN in OMORI. It is where BASIL, his grandmother, and caretaker POLLY primarily reside throughout the game. BASIL'S HOUSE is the first house shown within BASIL'S STREET, located southeast of the crossroad intersection.
BASIL is a major supporting character and the tritagonist in OMORI. He serves as one of the major driving forces behind the story's events as the party spends most of the game looking for him after his sudden disappearance.
Basil makes a brief appearance at the start of Day 2 in Faraway Park, where Kel and Sunny can talk to him about the events of the prior day. Later in the day while visiting Kel's house, Polly will appear at the door to inform him and Sunny that Basil has gone missing.
Join them, then Kel will tell Basil that we're moving out, which prompts him to ran away towards the bathroom. Go search for Basil, and he'll be surrounded by a creepy shadow that scares Sunny...

PHOTO ALBUM is an important item in OMORI and the most prized possession of BASIL. Three versions of the photo album are known to exist: the HEADSPACE photos, the FARAWAY TOWN photos, and THE TRUTH.
BASIL, originally known as MISSING GRANDSON[1], is a quest in OMORI. It is available after BASIL goes missing when visiting his house at the start of the game. This quest serves as the main quest and the overall driving force that gets the party to explore all corners of HEADSPACE.
