David Michael Canterbury (born September 19, 1963) is a survival expert who co-starred on the reality television show Dual Survival for two seasons (2010–11) which aired on the Discovery Channel.
Canterbury has been a European pilgrimage site of major importance for over 800 years since the assassination of Archbishop Thomas Becket in 1170. Today it is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in England.

Becket was immediately hailed as a martyr and canonised in 1173, after which his shrine in Canterbury Cathedral became the most important centre of pilgrimage in England, with relics associated with him distributed to churches throughout Europe.
