13 de mar. de 2013 · The most effective way to use the Tempest long range would be against a Zerg. If you can do a tempest rush of 2-3 tempest and hide them above a ledge, or over empty space, the Zerg will not have a unit that can attack them. They may have a couple of Mutas but Tempest can make short work of them.
Tempests are best used when enemy builds an army of Carriers due to their 2 natural armor which reduces interceptor damage significantly. Tempests can also be used with late game army to snipe enemy Colossi and forcing the enemy to retreat or to fight an unfavorable engagement.
