The Chicago Tribune called The Holmes Brothers “a gift to the world of music.” As a member of The Holmes Brothers, Sherman has released twelve albums and toured the world, performing in all fifty states and more than fifty countries.
Since the 2015 deaths of Popsy at age 72 and Wendell at age 71, surviving brother Sherman Holmes still actively records and performs. During their four-decade career, the trio toured the world and recorded 11 albums (five for Alligator Records), culminating with 2014’s Brotherhood .
