But Thompson has learned that if you’re in the public eye and you keep quiet, others will write their version of what happened.
Personal life. In the early 1970s, she began a relationship with the Richard Thompson and sang on his album Henry the Human Fly. In October 1972 the couple were married at Hampstead Town Hall. As "Richard & Linda Thompson", the couple released six studio albums between 1974 and 1982.
