Dale Frances Bozzio (née Consalvi; born March 2, 1955) is an American rock and pop vocalist. She is best known as co-founder and lead singer of the '80s new wave band Missing Persons and for her work with Frank Zappa. While with Zappa, she performed significant roles in two of his major works, Joe's Garage (1979) and Thing-Fish (1984).
1987. Embarks on solo career as "Dale." Marries successful entrepreneur Leonard ‘Len’ Holness II. Capitol Records CD-release "The Best of Missing Persons." LP-release "Riot in English," produced for Prince’s fledgling Paisley Park label. Premier single "Simon Simon" reaches #42-spot on Billboard dance chart. Dale and Len divorce amicably.

Missing Persons is an American rock band founded in 1980 in Los Angeles by guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, vocalist Dale Bozzio (née Consalvi), and drummer Terry Bozzio. They later added bassist Patrick O'Hearn and keyboardist Chuck Wild. Dale's quirky voice and heavy makeup made the band a favorite on MTV in the early 1980s. [1]
She was born Dale Frances Consalvi on March 2, 1955 in Boston, Massachusetts. Dale began working as a model at around age fifteen. Rozzio worked as a Playboy Bunny at a club in Boston. Moreover, she both graced the covers of and did nude pictorials in the March 1979 and February 1980 issues of Hustler magazine.
