Trilogy (2003) is a three-CD set that compiles Manifest Destiny and X Communication and unreleased live recordings. Brand X reformed with John Goodsall on guitar, Mick Stevens on bass, Dean De Benedictis on keyboards, Brock Avery on drums.
After almost ten years of absence during the Eighties, "Xcommunication" is the return of BRAND X under the economical format of a trio (GOODSALL, JONES, and KATZ). They released a CD that is almost as good than on previous releases. "The X-Files" is a disc of live recordings and a disc of unreleased material.
PROG REVIEWER. Buckyball's latest and greatest release up to date has to be BRAND X "Trilogy". It's a 3-CD release that consists of Brand X's two 1990's studio albums "Manifest Destiny" and "X communication" together with a previously unreleased live recording, recorded live in New York City, September 27, 1979.
