William Wyman Sherwood (born March 14, 1965) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, record producer and mixing engineer. He is best known for his tenures in the English progressive rock band Yes as guitarist and keyboardist in 1994 [1] and from 1997 to 2000 and as bassist since 2015, following the death of original bassist Chris Squire . [2]
With this solo album, Billy Sherwood plays all instruments and sings all the lyrics. What Was the Question? is a great introduction to Sherwood's solo work and I am interested enough to search out more. As a producer, composer, singer and multi – instrumentalist, Sherwood is involved in many projects in both the popular and progressive genres.
