The new Walt Disney Animation Studios wordmark logo was first seen Disney's 2020 Investor Day Presentation on December 10, 2020. However, the previous logo is still primarily used as an on-screen logo today.

Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS), sometimes shortened to Disney Animation, is an American animation studio that creates animated features and short films for The Walt Disney Company. The studio's current production logo features a scene from its first synchronized sound cartoon, Steamboat Willie (1928).
Starting in 2008, the logo was given a high definition look, which used the same animation. On the iPad app Disney Animated, the logo is in a 4:3 aspect ratio and is shown before the first section "Art in Motion". In this variant, the logo zooms in to focus on an abridged version of the Steamboat Willie footage.
