Mute Tab is a tool that lets you silence all tabs with one click. You can also mute all tabs except the active one, or unmute a specific tab by right-clicking on it.

MuteTab lets you control the sound of your browser tabs with various features such as muting by default, blacklists, whitelists, and music ducking. You can also see a count of noisy tabs avoided and disable automuting temporarily.
Mute Tab restores the 'Mute Tab' functionality of older Chrome versions that was removed in Chrome 71. It allows you to mute individual tabs by a context menu option or an extension icon.

23 de abr. de 2023 · You can mute tabs by default in Chrome now, but go to "chrome://flags." to change that behavior. To mute a tab, right-click on it and select "Mute site" and you'll no longer hear sound from that tab including future visits to that site. To unmute a tab, right-click on it and select "Unmute site."
