Heavy Horses is the eleventh studio album by British progressive rock band Jethro Tull, released on 10 April 1978. The album is often considered the second in a trio of folk rock albums released by the band at the end of the 1970s, alongside Songs from the Wood (1977) and Stormwatch (1979).

Jethro Tull’s Heavy Horses was original issued in 1978 and continued the folk rock stylings of the previous year’s Songs From the Wood album. The 2018 reissue of Heavy Horses features my stereo remix of the original album and nine additional bonus tracks from the same sessions, most of which have never been heard before.
