Jackass' Research is a Side Quest in NieR: Automata. "Jackass is doing research on the excitement androids experience during battle. She needs combat data on a new enemy model, so head into the desert and start wreckin' machines!"
Jackass is a Resistance Android that tends to do various jobs for YoRHa and the Resistance itself. She is quite fond of explosives and experimentation, going so far to isolate the cause why androids enjoy fighting and isolating a way to invoke the sensations via drugs.
"Jackass's Research" is a quest in NieR:Automata. Field work courtesy of 2B and 9S leads Jackass to synthesize a drug based off the combat data she gathered. Completing this quest opens up the item shop at the Desert: Oil Field access point.
