Surftech and I have just developed a line of my boards that I'm pleased to say are, by far, the best surfboards I've ever had. We took the Pocket Rocket, the Little Darlin' and our Something Fishy models to begin with and have come up with some really good looking boards that also ride exactly like they're supposed to.
Gerry Lopez grew up in the extraordinary place that was Hawaii in the 1950s and 1960s. He played a part in the shortboard revolution of the late 1960s and early 1970s. ... He experienced the awe, fear, and ultimate satisfaction of finding the tube in the early days at the Pipeline.
We aren’t a big factory pumping out a ton of production, we take great pride in each and every board and a lot of effort goes into making sure they all come out as perfect as we can make them. Every board is custom made to order to insure that it is right surfboard for you.

14 de dic. de 2023 · The first shape Lopez created specifically for Pipeline was the Coral Cruiser, which became the prototype of Pipe guns for the ë70s. The boards had the tail of a Waimea big wave gun, but the most important element was the low rail.
