Elizabeth Ortiz, better known as Liza, is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. She is the mother of Christopher Manawa and is divorced from her ex-husband, Travis Manawa. Following the initial outbreak, Liza becomes a nurse for the National Guard Compound.
She co-starred as Alicia Clark on the horror drama series Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2023), and made her directorial debut with the seventh season episode "Ofelia".
On December 1, 2014, it was announced that she had been cast as Alicia (originally named Ashley), one of the lead roles, in the AMC series Fear the Walking Dead (2015), the official companion series and prequel to The Walking Dead (2010).
