20 de may. de 2024 · Jeddah, city and major port in the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia. Lying to the west of Mecca, its principal importance historically was as a Red Sea port for Islam’s holiest city, thus serving as a landing point for many Muslim pilgrims and foreign diplomats.
