Lardelli Arts is the Multi-disciplinary practice of māori artist, Derek Lardelli and Rose Gould-Lardelli. Visual Māori artist, Tā Moko artist, painter, carver, kapahaka performer, orator, composer, graphic designer, researcher of whakapapa and oral histories, kaikōrero and educationalist.
Sir Derek Arana Te Ahi Lardelli KNZM (born 1961) is a New Zealand tā moko artist, painter, carver, kapahaka performer, composer, graphic designer, researcher of whakapapa and oral histories and kaikōrero.
Professor Derek Lardelli is regarded as one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s finest exponents of the arts and has been prominent in explaining and promoting Māori arts to audiences in New Zealand, the Pacific and around the world.
Derek Lardelli is a visual Māori artist, tā moko artist, composer, researcher and educator from Ngāti Porou and Rongowhakaata. He has received many awards and honours for his contributions to Māori arts, culture and education, including a knighthood in 2020.

Derek Lardelli was born in 1961, and is affiliated to Ngāti Porou, Rongowhakaata, Ngāti Kanohi (Ngai Te Riwai), and Ngāti Kaipoho (Ngai Te Aweawe). Although he works in a variety of media, Lardelli is regarded as one of New Zealand’s finest tā moko or body art artists.
