The Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy, situated right in the heart of Warsaw and in Białystok, is, by global standards, a relatively small college, with no more than 400 students. It is an autonomous state school, offering Masters programmes for students of acting, puppetry, directing and theatrology.
Nacido en Lublin, Polonia, tras haber seguido cursos de dicción y declamación y haber estudiado en la escuela de comercio Kronenberg en Varsovia, Zelwerowicz debutó en 1896 actuando en pequeños teatros representando clásicos de Shakespeare.
