History. Bassist Jen Carlson founded the band in January 2011 together with her longtime colleague Stacey Dee (vocals / guitar) as well as Myra Gallarza (drums) and Jennie Cotterill (vocals / guitar). [citation needed] The band name is an allusion to the idiom "Good Cop, Bad Cop".The band initially started touring locally and expanded their reach to the East coast of the United States.
