7 de ene. de 2013 · The biggest support for the deflection function comes from the spikes in front of the warp nacelle caps the pilot versions of the Enterprise had, of course. All The Making of Star Trek tells us is that the parabolic dish belongs to the main sensor and suggests that its spike is an “asteroid deflector”.
20 de mar. de 2018 · The Star Trek Encyclopaedia mostly identifies the second Grissom as being an Oberth-class, same as it's predecessor, however I think the crew complement in "Field of Fire" makes this unlikely. I also think it's unlikely that an Excelsior would have a regular crew larger than a Galaxy .

23 de may. de 2012 · Admiral. May 23, 2012. #3. I thought the extra consoles in the "Generations" bridge looked great. Ditto the "Yesterday's Enterprise" one. In fact, I think every variant we ever saw was an improvement on the regular, bland, mostly-empty TNG bridge. If you really need an in-universe explanation, they simply added more consoles.
11 de dic. de 2018 · The first were seen frequently around the corridors, usually in groups of 2 or 5. There were labeled 1-5 and sometimes A or B. Some were accompanied by a small label underneath them. The labels are unclear in the film, but I've used a few of Lee Cole's Safety Labels from the Star Trek: The Motion Picture Sticker Book and I think they fit nicely.

18 de oct. de 2015 · The Making of Star Trek (iirc) said the TOS Enterprise possessed 24 decks. If Starfleet refit/redecorated the Enterprise (as oppose to completely gutting her) the TMP version would presumably have the same deck count. The Enterprise A is a different ship, and the number of decks there are unknown (although there apparently is a deck 78).

TOS itself had a fairly wobbly continuity, since it was inventing so much as it went. TWOK contains some huge continuity errors vis-a-vis "Space Seed" and the rest of TOS.
