Hayward Field is a track and field stadium in the Northwestern United States, located on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. It has been the home of the university's track and field teams since 1921, and was the on-campus home of the varsity football team from 1919 through 1966 . [2]

Hayward Field is a world-class track and field facility that weaves its way into the campus fabric in a host of ways. A rebuilt Powell Plaza acts as the main entrance to the stadium at the northeast corner of the site, at the intersection of Agate Street and 15th Avenue.
Named for Bill Hayward, the “Grand Old Man” who coached Oregon track and field from 1904 until 1947, Hayward Field has been home to UO track and field since 1921—and the scene of some of the sport’s most memorable performances.
