Cheung Wing-sing (simplified Chinese: 张永成; traditional Chinese: 張永成; pinyin: Zhāng Yǒngchéng; 1897 – 1960) was the wife of Wing Chun master Ip Man. Biography

Ip's notable students include Chu Shong-tin, Lok Yiu, Wong Shun-leung, Bruce Lee, Moy Yat, Ho Kam Ming, Victor Kan, Lo Man-kam, William Cheung, and Leung Ting. Ip wrote a history of Wing Chun. Many artifacts of his life are on display in the Ip Man Museum on the Foshan Ancestral Temple grounds.
Cheung Wing-sing was born about 1897, in Foshan, Guangdong, China. She married Yip Man in 1916, in Foshan, Guangdong, China. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. She died in 1960, in Hong Kong, China, at the age of 64.
During that period of time, Ip Man's wife, Cheung Wing-sing, also comes to Hong Kong to join her husband, but returns to Foshan shortly after because life in Hong Kong is hard. The couple never saw each other again because Cheung died not long after returning to Foshan.
10 de dic. de 2015 · During this 20-year period his job was mainly in the army and police work. He married Cheung Wing Sing, who's family were descended from Cheung Yum Hang, one of the last of the Ching Dynasty ministers. He had four children, sons Ip Chun, Ip Ching, daughters Ar Sum and Ar Wun.
