James Roosevelt "Tadd" Roosevelt Jr. (August 20, 1879 – June 7, 1958), also called Taddy, was an American heir and member of the Roosevelt and Astor families.

He and his sister Helen Rebecca Roosevelt (1881–1962) were the children of diplomat James Roosevelt "Rosey" Roosevelt (1854–1927) of the Roosevelt family and Helen Schermerhorn Astor (1855–1893) of the Astor family.
James Roosevelt "Tadd" Roosevelt, Jr., (1879–1958) was a member of the Roosevelt family and the Astor family. He was the son of James Roosevelt "Rosey" Roosevelt (son of James Roosevelt and Rebecca Howland) of the Roosevelts and Helen Schermerhorn Astor (daughter of William Backhouse Astor, Jr. and Caroline Webster Schermerhorn) of the Astors.
Tadd left Harvard under a veil of scandal which followed him when he moved to New York City and married Sadie Messinger, a Hungarian-born prostitute. His father disowned him, he was cut off from the Roosevelt family, but nonetheless Tadd remained marred to Sadie all his life.
