David T. Lametti PC KC (born August 10, 1962) is a Canadian politician and lawyer who was the member of Parliament for LaSalle—Émard—Verdun from 2015 to 2024. A member of the Liberal Party, Lametti served as minister of justice and attorney general of Canada from 2019 to 2023.

A statement from the Montreal MP said his resignation would take effect at the end of January.
David Lametti is a professor, a father and a music lover. He was the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada until July 2023.
