Carl Ashley Raphael Barât (6 de junio de 1978) es un músico británico, líder del extinto grupo Dirty Pretty Things, que actualmente colidera junto a Pete Doherty la conocida banda The Libertines, líder y vocalista de la banda Carl Barat and the Jackals.
1997–present. Carl Ashley Raphael Barât ( / bəˈrɑːt /; [1] born 6 June 1978) is a British musician and actor, best known for being the co-frontman with Pete Doherty of the Indie Rock band the Libertines. He was the frontman and guitarist of Dirty Pretty Things, and in 2010 debuted a solo album.
La banda se centra en el dúo compositivo de Pete Doherty (voz/guitarra rítmica) y Carl Barât (voz/guitarra principal), junto con John Hassall (bajo) y Gary Powell (batería). The Libertines are an English rock band, formed in London in 1997 by frontmen Carl Barât (vocals/guitar) and Pete Doherty (vocals/guitar). The band, centred on the songwriting partnership of Barât and Doherty, has also included John Hassall (bass), and Gary Powell (drums) for most of its recording career.
