Julian Priester (born June 29, 1935) is an American jazz trombonist and occasional euphoniumist. He is sometimes credited "Julian Priester Pepo Mtoto". He has played with Sun Ra, Max Roach, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, and Herbie Hancock.

Julian Priester (nacido el 29 de junio de 1935, Chicago, Illinois, Estados Unidos), es un trombonista de jazz estadounidense. Priester asistió a la escuela secundaria DuSable de Chicago, donde estudió con Walter Dyett, y en su adolescencia, tocó con artistas de Blues y R&B como Muddy Waters y Bo Diddley, así como con el saxofonista Sonny Stitt.
