Silvia D'Atri Telles ( Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈsiwvia ˈtɛlis]; August 27, 1934 – December 17, 1966) was a Brazilian jazz Samba and Bossa Nova singer and composer of the 1950s and 1960s, considered one of the major artists of Bossa Nova and MPB.

In 1961 she was the first Brazilian bossa nova artist to record songs in both English and Portuguese, setting the standards for bossa nova singers who followed. Telles was on the rise when she was killed in an auto accident in Brazil in December 1966.
Sylvia Telles was one of the first interpreters to become identified with Bossa Nova, recording many classics written by Tom Jobim, Vinicius De Moraes and other important composers of the genre. Her career lasted from 1955 to 1966 when she died in a car accident.
