Rob Mazurek (born 1965) is an American composer, cornetist, and visual artist based in Chicago. [2] Biography. Mazurek was born in 1965 in Jersey City, New Jersey, [3] and played trumpet and cornet in high school in Naperville, Illinois.
Rob Mazurek, the leader of Exploding Star Orchestra, presents his latest work of interdisciplinary abstract jazz, featuring guitarist Jeff Parker, vocalist Damon Locks, and more. The album was recorded in Texas and Chicago, and includes samples of live performances in Paris.
Rob Mazurek is a Chicago-based composer and musician who leads the Exploding Star Orchestra, a 14-piece ensemble of avant-garde jazz and post-rock. Dimensional Stardust is their latest album, featuring spoken word, electronics, and cosmic sounds.
