Beryl Cyril "Jack" Sheldon Jr. (November 30, 1931 – December 27, 2019) was an American singer, actor, comedian, and one of the most distinctive trumpet players of his generation, with an immediately identifiable sound.
Jack Sheldon (1931-2019) was a versatile performer who appeared on The Merv Griffin Show, Schoolhouse Rock!, and many movies and TV shows. He also wrote and performed jazz music, including the Oscar-winning theme song for The Wind and the Lion.

Jack Sheldon was a jazz musician, singer and actor, best known for his role on The Merv Griffin Show (1962). He also voiced characters in Schoolhouse Rock! and Run Buddy Run (1966), and was the father of Julie Sheldon.
