Ein im Vietnamkrieg desertierter Amerikaner (Maurizio Merli) wird von Micheli (Mel Ferrer) dazu erpresst, in Neapel einen Konkurrenten aus dem Weg zu räumen. Doch dem Killer gelingt es anschließend nicht, das Land zu verlassen, und er hat seinerseits gekaufte Mörder am Hacken.
